• What is the cost of the program?

  The pilot is free and includes a demonstration of our firearm alerting technology. Beyond the pilot, the customer can expect to pay for hardware, installation, and a monthly monitoring fee based on the number of students and cameras.

• How can we get a demonstration done for our school/business?

  Email [email protected] and we will schedule a free trial and demo.

• How many users can be added per ISD?

  There is no upper bound on users.

• How long is the setup?

  We can install the system for demonstration purposes in a day. Beyond the pilot, smaller facility customers can be up and running in days on the full system. Larger facility customers may take several weeks.

• Does Angel Protection alert on concealed weapons?

  No. Only brandished firearms are detected and alerted. If concealed weapons are a problem, then we have alternate solutions.

• How does your security camera detection system work, and do you have continuous access to our video streams?

  Our system prioritizes your privacy by operating directly on servers at your location, without establishing remote connections to your video streams. It is designed to autonomously analyze camera feeds for potential gun detections using AI technology. Only when the AI identifies a possible detection, a single frame highlighting the detection is sent, not the video stream itself. This process ensures we only receive specific images necessary for assessing potential threats, with no continuous monitoring of your video feeds. Our goal is to protect your privacy while promptly addressing safety concerns.

• Can new cameras be added?

  Yes, we will continue to add as many cameras to the system as needed. The customer will need to buy additional hardware to support the AI as the camera count increases.

• Does the system integrate with 911?

  We prefer to integrate with 911 but have solutions for when this isn’t possible.

• How do we handle data privacy?

  The only time data leaves the customer is when our AI thinks it has detected a firearm. 

• Does the AI detect other weapons?

  No. We are focused on rapid firearm detection.

• Will armed police trigger an alert?

  Only if a uniformed officer is brandishing the firearm will our system send out an alert.

• What is the range of detection?

   It depends on the quality of the camera. Typical 4K cameras can expect to detect firearms at 15 meters or less. With excellent optical zoom cameras detections beyond 1000 meters become possible.

• Can the system track suspects?

   Yes, as the suspect continues to move in front of cameras brandishing a firearm the system will continue to alert.

• Who and where is the system monitored?

  The system is primarily monitored onsite using AI. When an alert is detected it is sent off-site to our central monitoring center for verification.

• Will this system add load to our network?

  We optimize the deployment of our AI so that it can be decentralized. This means we don’t draw large amounts of data into one place but instead draw small amounts of data in lots of places. Decentralization also provides system redundancy if hardware fails.
